Large enough to be used by two people and the family dog, this paddleboard truly allows you to have a good time out on the water and at an affordable price. This is one of the lower priced models we reviewed and we were pleasantly surprised at all the positive feedback we heard from consumers.

Solstice Bali Stand up Paddleboard Review: Board Design

Loaded with a number of features, the Bali is a lightweight model that comes equipped with four stainless steel tie-downs, carry bag and a pump with gauge. Made from three ply PVC reinforced material, this SUP is surprisingly strong and fast. This model also features a tri-fin design, which works to improve performance and tracking in many different types of water conditions. The Bali’s multi-layered construction prevents the board from flexing and makes it tough enough to withstand rough waters while improving balance as you paddle. The top is coated with non-slip EVA traction for improved grip and maximum comfort. Measuring in at eleven feet long, four inches thick and twenty-nine inches wide.

Package Details for the Bali

Four stainless steel tie-downs have been installed so that the user can attach and store their personal items while riding the board. D-ring use is optional. If you use your paddleboard for surfing, then purchasing a leash is a good idea, otherwise you can lose your board in rough waters. One end of the leash attaches to the user’s ankle, while the other end is clipped onto the D-ring.

A hand pump and gauge are also included, in addition to a patch kit for emergency leaks and the carry bag for easy portability and storage.

Product assembly is pretty easy. Inflate the board using the hand pump, which takes about ten minutes, and install the fin. You can use the included fastener to install the fin and use a coin to screw or unscrew it. The board needs to be inflated to fifteen PSI. Keep in mind you’ll be unable to use the carry bag if the fins are attached. Some consumers found that using a paddleboard strap with a clip worked better for lugging their boards around and felt that the bag was much too small for the board itself.

How Consumers Rated the Bali by Solstice Paddleboard

Consumers gave this model a rating of four out of five stars for easy assembly and board quality and design. Solid enough for new waves or tracking through rough waters, this paddleboard is very family-friendly and a great option for beginners or pros. Some consumers suggested purchasing an electric pump or using an air compressor to inflate the board because the gauge on the hand pump is not always accurate, not to mention it’s a very time consuming process. Currently, this model is priced at $469.99.
